苦の受入 This Life of Suffering
苦から逃れ、楽を求めるのは人の性分です。しかしどうしても逃れられないのが四苦（生、老、病、死）です。でもこの四苦に阿弥陀如来の光を当ててみると四苦は私達が生きているからこそ体験する生きている証拠であることが解ります。この四苦から逃れようとせず、生きている証拠として受け入れるならば、苦は無くなりはしませんが軽微となります。
No matter how human nature avoids suffering and searches for the easy way to live each day, we cannot avoid the Four Sufferings(Buddhist teaching) Life, Old Age, Sickness and Death. But if we look at these Four Sufferings through the light of the Amida Nyorai we realize that these hard experiences are proof that we are truly living each day. Accepting their existence will not make them disappear but instead lessen the pain.
