The necessity of the Dharma　教えの必要性　　

普段の生活が順調な時は宗教は無用に思える。しかし生老病死の四苦に直面すると、惨めな存在となってしまう。日頃から宗教に接していることが大事です。浄土真宗には四苦への答えがあります。住職と共にお寺で聞法しましょう。

We tend to think that religion is not necessary to everyday life when things are going well. But when faced with the Four Sufferings--birth, sickness, old age, death--our lives become pathetic. This is why we should keep in contact with religion. The answer to living with the Four Sufferings can be found in Jodo Shinshu. Together with the Head Priest, let us listen to the Dharma at the temple.
