Learning Buddhism
仏法が身につかない、一度聞いてもすぐ忘れるということをよく聞きます。稽古事と同じで、ピアノや琴のようにこつこつ練習しないと身につきません。仏法も何度も何度も聴聞して聞開いていく事が大事です。一攫千金ということはありません。
One frequently hears that Buddhism is difficult to learn , or easy to forget . However , like learning to play any instrument (for instance the piano or the Japanese koto) , one must practice over and over again in order to become adept at playing . In the same way listening over and over to the Teachings is extremely important to understand (learn) Buddhism . It's not possible to succeed at one stroke .
