浄土真宗では言葉は重要です。言葉によって無明の闇に覆われたり、言葉が救いの光明となったりするからです。

In Jodo Shinshu , words are extremely important . Why ? Because words can push one into darkness and confusion , and at the same time words can be the light of salvation .
