An empty life

人が寿命を終えて死を迎えるのは自然なことです。しかし金や名誉や地位などを追って人生を空しく過して終えることは残念なことです。

Death comes at the end of life--this is the natural way of things . But to live one’s life in empty pursuit of wealth , honor , and prestige--this is indeed regrettable .
